About the Author
The author Mr. Diwaker Chand is a prolific writer who has intervened in the sector of development from 1975 onwards. His first book New Dimension of Economic Development of Nepal’, envisioned the concurrent issues of development in the 70’s. He has been incessantly writing on development issues since then. “The Road Map of the Development of Nepal’ depicts the fate of development of Nepal. He explicitly highlights the roles played by different stakeholders in the process of development ranging from the government and CBO’s respectively. The book tries to make a dissection of different government policies and boldly challanges their relevance and utility.
The most interesting front of the book is the modules in which the author describes the impact and incidence of Insurgency upon the National Economy and over all development of Nepal. The book is a resorvoir on contents of development. It would definitely be of great utility to the academicians, scholors, research students, NGOs/INGOs and planners in general.
