Pather – Shyam Shah

Pather – Shyam Shah | In Pather, Shyam has raised more subtle issues, which have a special meaning in Nepali politics. Especially the Madhes, the marginalized Madhes and the people at the bottom of that society are the characters of this collection of stories. It is Shyam’s literary work to tell a story in the social style of Madhes through these characters, to raise the issue in a political image and to awaken the resistance consciousness and this is his personality. Pather literally means bricklayer. From an aesthetic point of view, Pather is important to the working class and the value of their labor.
