Pakistan Study Center (PSC) was established in 2006 to provide facilities to learn more details, about Pakistan and its march towards rapid progress and development. The Center is equipped with a modest library and computer facilities which is opened to all interested to avail the services.
Pakistan Study Center has arrange to publish a famous book “Buddhist Gandhara” translate into Nepali, which introduces Buddhist Cultural heritages in Pakistan.
This time Pakistan Study Center is publishing this booklet titled “Pakistan as Perceived by Nepali Media Delegation, 2011”. There are four articles about Pakistan visit by Hiranya Lal Shrestha, Dorji Tsering Sherpa, Deependra Rokaya and Bishwas Baral. There are dozens of photographs by senior photo journalist Deependra Bajracharya. All of them depicted the true picture of present day Pakistan in words and in photographs. So this booklet is an interesting travelogue of Nepali visitors.
Mr. Shrestha is a formal ambassador and writer, Mr. Sherpa is a businessman in Tourism Sector, Mr. Rokaya is an editor of ‘Janadesha’ Nepali daily newspaper, Mr. Baral is a journalist working in the Kathmandu Post and Mr. Bajracharya is free-lance photo journalist. Their observation helps us to understand contemporary Pakistan objectively. The messages in each article are to promote close relation and deep friendship between Nepali and Pakistani peoples.
