Muslims of Nepal – Shamima Siddika

Miss Shamima Siddika is a graduate from Dhaka
University and M.A. in sociology from Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu (Nepal). She is the first Bangaldeshi student having an M.A. degree from Tribhuvan University. She spent almost five years in Nepal along with her parents, learnt local Nepali language and mixed with the local people to know the social conditions.
She came across the Nepali Muslims also, the second largest minority group in Nepal, and this book is the outcome of long research on this community. This book may be helpful to both the Muslim and non-Muslim readers as well as the Nepalese and non-Nepalese foreigners. It may be pointed out that this is the first and only book ever published on the Nepalese Muslim community written in English or Nepali language.
