Land Locked Nepal and International Law – Surya P Subedi

Born on 23rd January, 1958, at Lamjung, Khudi, Surya P. Subedi was educated at Tribhuvan Univer- sity where he graduated in Law and earned an M.A. in Political Science. He then went to England for further studies and obtained his LL. M. in International Law with distinction at Hull University where he was awarded the prestigious Josephine C. Onoh Memorial Prize for the best overall performance in the Masters degree examination.

He has also attended the Hague Academy Lectures in International Law at The Hague and a Summer Session of the International Institute of Human Rights and CIEDHU programme at Strasbourg, France. He has published a number of articles in national and international law journals and a book: Nepalese Administrative Law (1985).
