Rev. Nabin Sunuwar is first born of parents in B.S. 2011/10/06 at wachapu, Pokali-3,
Okhaldunga Nepal. Pastor Nabin is married to Pratima (Pratigya) with four children. He is a gifted teacher, administrator and social worker of the age. Received a high calling of Jesus Christ (Yesua/ Yaweh) in the year AD 1975 for Pastor role in Nepal. He was Confered Bachelors of Theology B. Th. Degree in the year AD 1980 in Bangalore, India. He holds Master of Arts (MA) in English from Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur, Kathmandu. He has got good knowledge from various trainings and workshops of national and international level. He has done visits of several countries for both learning and teachings. He is one of the pioneering Pastor in Nepali Christian Society. He is the founder and Principal of Discipleship Training Centre (DTC) Bible School and Pumori Secondary Vidhya Mandir in Madhyapur Thimi, Bhaktapur. Pastor Nabin is
continuously doing best of his capacity and endeavour to evangelize Nepal. He has written books and booklets on Christian Education to educate the Chritians in Nepal.
Nabin demonstrates a special combination of attributes while taking the reader through a Sunuwar village. As a researcher he has a good understanding of the history and culture of his own native village and a remarkable determination to let other people know about the Sunuwars and their culture. His empathy for and deep understanding of the Sunuwars come through as he presents the different descriptive snippets of Sunuwar life. This survey provides a valuable context toward a general understanding of a group of people, and I believe that readers of this book will benefit from Nabin’s experience and his ability to communicate his knowledge and passion about a remarkable ethnic community in Nepal.
