Nepali Ukhansangraha – Shivaprasad Paudel | A collection of Nepali proverbs has been published in Nepali vernacular with the objective of preserving and promoting Nepali folklore through a joint publication committed to the development of literature, music and art. This work is a collection of proverbs prevalent in Nepali folklore. The work has been prepared in alphabetical order by compiling Nepali language-speaking proverbs.

Proverbs in any language are the lifeblood of the language. Proverbs make language sweet and juicy. Proverbs that have a lot of expression in a few words are formulaic statements that come out of folklore.
