Shatru of Kathmandu is the story of present day Nepal. It is a figment of imagination though Shatru has been the central figure of the story. Some of the events may seem far fetched from the point of view of imagination.
Mani Dixit, born in 1937 did his schooling in India and graduated in Medicine from London University. He has worked at Bir Hospital and Kanti Children’s Hospital. Later
he became Dean and Professor of Child Health of Tribhuvan University Institute of Medicine. Currently he is Principal of Kathmandu Medical College.
A member of Literary Association Nepal (LAN), he has written about a dozen books, both fiction and non-fiction including Nepal’s Quest for Health.
