    Introduction
    The story is set in Kathmandu in the year 2013 BS. The protagonist, Mann, is a 19-year-old girl living with her family in Baneshwor. Her father, who serves in the military, has arranged for a teacher to educate Mann and her 17-year-old sister, Dhan, at home. Mann falls in love with the teacher and becomes pregnant. Upon discovering her pregnancy, the teacher stops coming to their home, leaving Mann terrified and unable to reveal her condition to her parents.

    Plot Summary
    Unaware about the Mann’s Situation, her parents decide to arrange her marriage. However, on the wedding day, Mann elopes, leaving her family in disarray. To manage the situation, her parents decide to marry Dhan in place of Mann. Despite being in love with their neighbor, Madhu, Dhan agrees to the marriage for the sake of her parents.

    Mann faces numerous challenges throughout the year, constantly encountering individuals who try to exploit her vulnerable situation. Despite the adversities, she manages to escape several dangerous scenarios. Meanwhile, Dhan also struggles with the consequences of her sacrifice. Madhu becomes mentally imbalanced, and their parents are devastated by the turn of events. They search for Mann, but she resolves not to return home, only to find herself in increasingly perilous situations.

    The story reflects the harsh realities a lonely girl can face in society and how a single decision can profoundly impact the lives of those around her.
