Sherpa people have earned an extraordinary reputation as high-altitude porters and guides on mountaineering expeditions.
But, the Sherpas are an ethnic people who practise the rich traditions and culture of Himalayan Buddhism.
For three decades, Frances Klatzel helped to create a museum and books on Sherpa culture.
